Pricing
Craftin focuses on doing things right the first time—using quality materials and parts to ensure long-lasting results that save you time and money in the long run.

Most jobs, ranging from an hour to a few days, are charged at a straightforward hourly or day rate. Estimates can be provided in advance, and if the work is completed faster than expected, you’ll only pay for the time used—no hidden costs, just honest work.

Larger projects may be considered on a case-by-case basis, though my availability for on-site work is limited to a few days a week.
​
Labour is charged separately from materials. I’m not VAT registered, which helps keep costs down. For larger purchases, you may be asked to pay suppliers directly—I’ll make this process as simple as possible for you.
Handman Rates

Full Day - £280 per day (7 hrs)

Half-day - £140 for a 3-hour morning or afternoon.

Hourly - £60 for the first hour (1hr minimum call out), then £25 for subsequent half hours.

*Travel - I enjoy working in rural locations, but travel time after the first 30 minutes from Dunkeld will charged as working time.
*Materials - I do my best to keep the van stocked with the basics, but any significant time used to source and supply specific materials or components will be charged fairly in accordance with the job.
*Waste Disposal - Any waste from your project can be recycled/ disposed of at PKC recycle centres, but will incur the PKC commercial charge + labour

Repair Shop
Got something that needs fixing? If it’s small, portable, and not urgent, I offer a repair service from my workshop—perfect for giving well-loved items a second life. Each job is priced fairly based on the item and the work needed. It’s a simple, sustainable way to save your stuff from the skip.
